TES Contracted to Deliver Digital Radio Across Strategic Energy Site

The Stanlow Oil Refinery near Liverpool will soon be enjoying the benefits of the very latest digital communication technology.

As one of the UK’s most strategically important sites for energy production, responsible for supplying nearly 20% of national road and jet fuel - and now the site of major investment for large scale domestic hydrogen production - the ability to conduct safe and efficient operations is paramount.

Covering 800 hectares and supporting over 1,000 staff the new system will bring data encryption, high-availability architecture, private wireless back-haul, and centralised dispatch and control functionality.

TES Deliver P25 Radio System For Floating Oil Facility 

This week the TES team successfully completed the deployment & commissioning of a brand-new, safety-critical, high-availability, ATEX radio system onboard a floating facility 200 miles off West Africa.

With the assignment including design, pre and post installation coverage assessments, full infrastructure deployment and documentation - the facility now benefits from a sophisticated, reliable, digital radio communication system - enhancing both daily operations and onboard safety.

Another offshore facility in the region now live—thanks to the dedication and expertise of the TES team.
